This is a project I've been working on for a few months now and I'm happy to finally show you the results! Working from home has many perks, and having a beautiful work space that inspires me has forever changed my creativity and focus. Most days I shut the door, turn up the music and put in a 10-hour work day, while Lucy (the furry bestie) sleeps and snores way too loud. There are times when I end up doing laundry or watching an HGTV marathon instead of creating content or doing mundane research, but for the most part working from home is a dream. When you have a dedicated space at home to work, I highly recommend that you transform it into a place that inspires and motivates you.
I've always been a big fan of framing greeting cards, for the easiest diy wall on the planet. Papyrus has an ah-mazing collection of fun greeting cards for framing and Digi Buddha has the best selection for gold foil prints.
My favorite piece in the room is my grandmother's vintage sequin peplum top, I hung on the wall. Just spray painted a wooden hanger gold and tied a simple bow around it. The tables are actually upcycled display tables from a Miu Miu store.
I used wrapping paper to cover the backside of my bookshelf and framed art on the wall.
