In honor of #WCW, I wanted to take a moment and acknowledge Stella McCartney.  As a hardcore Beatles fan from birth, it was only natural for me to love anyone with the last name McCartney, but she deserves a title all her own.  Well, more appropriately, more like a sparkling, gold crown. The combination of her killer design skills, animal loving heart and life dedicated to philanthropy, she won be over fair and square. So before I dive into a food coma tomorrow (and for the next 5 weeks), I'm going to think about how I'm going to fit into one of these stunning resort 16' pieces first...

I love a great product with a good story behind it.  These radiant smiles and gorgeous hand-woven baskets sold on line and in Macy’s stores as part of the Rwanda Path to Peace program.  It’s easy to see them solely as objects of beauty, but it’s hard to imagine the journey the baskets and the women who make them have been on. In fact, each basket represents a journey towards reconciliation.
